Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1756-LSP is a Safety Partner module used with GuardLogix controllers in the ControlLogix 5560S and 5570S families.
It works alongside the primary controller to support safety-related control functions within the GuardLogix architecture.
The two processors operate together in a one-out-of-two (1oo2) configuration, with the Safety Partner handling safety-related processing as part of the system’s redundant design.
The 1756-LSP installs in the ControlLogix chassis immediately to the right of its corresponding primary controller.
Firmware revisions must match for the controller partnership to operate correctly.
