Discrete inputs can adapt to various voltage levels commonly found in industrial facilities. FBM207/b/c matches the external power supply voltage level of the factory through one of several terminal assemblies (TA). In some scenarios, the input can be used as a component of the control system architecture, and FBM207/b/c can be paired and installed with the standard control block Monitor/Contact Sense Redundancy to achieve redundancy. FBM207/b/c operates as a 16 channel DC voltage monitor or 16 channel contact input sensor, with each channel receiving a two-wire input signal from FBM207 or a pair of contacts/solid-state switches (FBM207/b/c). The matching terminal assembly (TA) supports discrete input signals such as 60VDC, 120VAC/125VDC, 240VAC, etc; If the voltage is higher than 10VDC, the terminal component needs to be equipped with signal conditioning hardware to achieve voltage attenuation and optoelectronic isolation.
