Description:The Honeywell 10001/R/1 is a Vertical Bus Driver (VBD) used in the FSC safety control system. Installed in the Central Part rack, it provides the connection between the central processing section and the I/O level through the system’s vertical bus architecture. The module can interface with multiple Horizontal Bus Driver modules, allowing I/O racks to be connected to the central control hardware. The 10001/R/1 version also incorporates a relay-based isolation function for the vertical bus in applicable redundant configurations. For replacement applications, verify the complete 10001/R/1 model designation and existing FSC configuration before ordering.
