The ICS Triplex T8310 is a Trusted TMR Expander Processor installed in an expansion chassis of the Trusted control system. It manages the interface between the expansion chassis and the system’s triplicated communication architecture, allowing I/O modules in the expansion chassis to exchange data with the main controller. The T8310 is normally installed as a primary and secondary pair in slots 13 and 14 of the expander chassis. Its status information is available to the application through the Trusted system configuration. When replacing the module, check the chassis number, slot assignment and redundancy arrangement against the existing system.
